Is this a signed shsh? I have an itouch 3g 4.1. and i did these steps.

    1. I opened tinyumbrella
    2. I clicked 'advanced'
    3. I entered my ECID
    4. Under Request Version I selected iPod 3G 3.1.3
    5. Under Location I selected Cydia
    6. Then I clicked Save SHSH
    7. after it was saved. i clicked display shsh. and 3.1.3 (can restore safely prompt) came out but with a different ECID.

    second thing that i did.

    1. I opened tinyumbrella
    2. I clicked save my shsh.
    3. it said it was saved successfuly. but when i click display shsh, it does not display my ECID on the saved shsh.

I am now confused. is this a bug? if the shsh that i saved was unique to my ECID, why did it reflect a different ECID?

SHSHs for 3.1.3 cannot be saved. Are you on the latest version?

If they were saved on cydia previously, then it probably got them from there.

I thought the 3G 8GB (AKA the 2G MC model), doesn't require SHSH blobs on 3.1.2?

In theory, yes. I just checked out tinyumbrella and it says that if TU gets the SHSH blobs of cydia then Cydia does have it.

I just tried and it says that Apple isn't signing the firmwares anymore.
