Hi again, I have a new question for all of you here on ifans.com

I'm in need of restoring my iPod,
but I'm really afraid I'll lose all my game data and whatnot.

I know it's silly, but the game is Tap Tap Revenge,
and I've accumulated quite a few limited time, free songs.

I was wondering if there's a way to hold onto my level and scores and still restore my iPod..

I tried to use Cyberduck, but that didn't really pan out well.
It could never connect to my iPod touch.

    Thanks for your help!

The levels I am not sure.

I know you can right click your iPod (on the left) while connected to iTunes and back it up. That will save the scores and game progress.

Are you sure it saves the game progress though?

I've looked around, and some people say it does..
Then again, quite a few people have said just the opposite.

    Have you tried it before?

    I made a desperate attempt to jailbreak my 3GS (although I knew I can't).
I ended up having to Wipe and Restore it. Game progress was saved.

On the other hand, I have also lost everything with my iPod touch.
    I don't know what I did differently.

    well thank you very much!
I guess I'm going to just save everything else and try the backup thing..
    But boy am I nervous!
    It's kind of necessary though.
