Saved images from Safari don't show up in Photos

    I've noticed this for a while now. Safari doesn't save images to my Photos app. (Screenshots save to DCIM\999APPLE\ but don't show up in Photos) Is there any way to fix this besides restoring.

    Goto Terminal

    su root
    alpine

    chmod -R 755 /private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/
    chown -hR mobile /private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/

    i had this same problem since i updated my ipod-touch(1G) from 2.1 to 2.2.1..

    tried your tip.. it seems to be working now.. Thanks !

    damn calm down
    i see that you are jailbroken so you should be able to go into cydia and download a program called terminal
    once you have that installed type the text from the post above into it

    su root
    alpine

    chmod -R 755 /private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/
    chown -hR mobile /private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/
