had this prob with SNES before, now PSX

entering this code in terminal "chown -hR mobile /var/mobile" enabled me to save (for SNES). However PSX4All will only recognize roms from /var/root/media/ROMs/PSX, so the above code doesnt work. so i tried changing the code to refer to var/root/media/RO... etc. but it keeps saying "no file or directory", which I know there is. how do enable saves, what would the correct code be, or how else could I fix this?

I know this has been covered, but I cant find a good fix (or at least get it to work), and its really starting to bug me!

    please help!

The code is: chown -hR mobile /var/root

This one allows me to save-state on psx4all
