    Is it possible to save web apps (HTML) locally on the touch, so that they can be used/viewed in mobile safari when there isn't any wifi?

    ...basically is there a way to save and more importantly open HTML files on the touch....or just open them (SSH into touch to put html there locally from computer)

    THANKS!

    p.s. search was down, sorry if this has been asked before!

    You should be able to install Apache and put the HTML files into that directory and call them locally from Apache.

    But I can't go into how extensively right now.
    Maybe tomorrow.

    Seems like a round-about way of doing it, surely there's an app out there that can launch http files in safari mobile.....?

    I'll try and put a HTML file on my touch and opening it with mobile finder tomorrow ...I haven't tried that yet.

    Nope, mobile finder didn't do it...but I did find a useful site/app, although it doesn't always work....;

    http://www.somewhere.com/url2iphone.html

    But I was really looking for a way to open saved webpages on mobile safari (possibly a safari webarchive file...ideally)

    THANKS
