Is it possible to save Images from Safari directly to the ipod? If it is possible to where does it get saved?

Yes - just hold your finger on the image to save it. A menu will pop up after a second or two asking if you want to save it.

Saved photos will go into the "Saved Photos" folder, and are accessible the Photos app, or if you connect your iPod to your computer, they will be in one of the DCIM folders.

Get your Pody little fingers, and Hold your Finger down the Image, Untill you get a " Save Image" Option, and a "Cancel" Option.

Press Save image, Now press your Home Button, go to your "Photos" And in there should it be.

Open the iPod in My Computer.

Then Browse the folders, Look for the picture.

I know your info shows that you are on 2.2.1, but are you sure you aren't on 1.1.x? The 1.1.x firmwares did not have this feature.

Well, if you don't have the appstore on your iPod, you're not on 2.x
