So I had a hp computer which recently the screen died on. I took out the HD, slapped it into a external enclosure, and now its running as an external hd considering I don't have a computer of my own - but I need the files. I am gong to be buying a new macbook when they come out in October. My question is, will my hd be readable on the mac? It is a SATA II formated in NTFS. I need to be able to transfer some songs, pictures, etc from it onto the mac once I get it.
    Thanks

Yes, if its running VIA usb it should work

worst case scenario is youll have to put your files onto a pc and put them onto a memory stick and transfer them over by that
