So, I was cleaning my 2nd gens screen and I found a few grains of sand between the LCD screen and the glass.

Turns out that the bottom of the screen moves every time I apply a small amount of pressure to the bottom of the screen.
....apple fails at make a stable mount.....

Has anyone else had this problem?

I wonder if making a sand castle on the beach for your iPod touch is in the warranty?
Haha kidding, but take it in to an Apple Store and show them. It will most likely get fixed or replaced.

LOL, Well there isn't a single beach in a 500 mile radius in North Dakota, so I can't make sand castles

. Same goes for Apple Stores, I would have to drive to Minnesota to find a Apple Store

    . ...NORTH DAKOTA SUCKS!!!

My only choice is to ship it back to Apple for like 3 years lol.

the bottom left corner of the ipod screen seems to give a little when you press it down, making it easy for sand or dust to get in. This had happned on both of the ipod touch 2g i have handled (including mine)

I don't notice them until I look real close. But I still don't like how my screen moves in the metal casing.

Man I like the fact they lowered the cost but jees with all these small quirks here and there.....light leaks, home button issue, now screen moving.....i would have been happier paying an extra 100$....so i would see no flaws....

p.s. mine also moves ever so lightly...plus my home button is non responsive at times....

I wonder how many ppl actually have a TRULY working ipod....hmmmm!!
