I went from an Iphone 3GS to a Galaxy Note. Originally, I did not favor Android phones because of the apps issue. However, now I find that every app I use regularly is now available in the Android Market. I have not even "rooted" my Note and I can tether and wifi hotspot. There are technical GPS apps that make my Note look like my old Garmin 45 GPS (satellites in the sky, signal levels, and so on).

I switched to the Note for the brilliant colors, larger screen, great resolution (1280x800) and 4GLTE. I have gotten 38 Mbps in SpeedTest.net near my home. I barely do 1 Mbps with my Iphone.

Stream videos is great. I can actually watch whole shows and movies without discomfort. Browsing is a comfortable experience. I can stream from Youtube at HD. Some notebooks have problems with HD viewing online.

I used to use my notebook tethered to my Iphone at church for notes, reading, and research. I have not even opened my notebook now with my Note.

Now I don't have to wonder if a new Iphone or IOS will be jailbroken since Apple is trying very hard to prevent it.

I still use my Iphone and Touch as backup devices and for music play to spread the battery use around.

I tend to use my new Note more than I did my Iphone and I still get more than one day's use from a charge.

Everyone should just stop with this Samsung vs iPhone competition.
