This is a discussion thread for the "Samsung Didn't Raise Apple's Component Prices" story posted on the front page.
As Im not mistaken, it said it was a report in the last article: Now: There's something inconsistent here, but I'm not sure what it is.
The story was originally reported by a Korean publication. A report isn't always guaranteed to be accurate. That's why I put "report" in the first place instead of just putting "Samsung Now Charging Apple..."
Then wouldn't that be a rumor then? It is not a big deal, but I'm just curious because publications have reports on Apple's anticipated products, but they aren't true either.
Sometimes I use the "report" prefix, sometimes I wrote "reportedly." I like to think they mean the same. Ok thanks for the reply and I now understand what your trying to say. The thing that is confusing is whether Samsung or the publication from Korea is telling the truth. The reason I say that is Samsung would deny these claims is to prevent any further gashing to the wound between them and Apple. However doing some research on the article I do not believe this is the case as the source claims to be relied on one person observing the situation: The reliability of one person, who is not named, nor having previous credibility is doubtful, but then again, saying this kicks itself in the head when Apple rumours come out and they are usually right.
