hello I'm new to this forum, and I've been looking around for help but nothing seems clear enough.

I pwned my iPod touch with winpwn on 1.1.4.. Whole process went fine: it is pwned and jailbroken. What I want to know is: what is the safest way to return to official apple 1.1.4 firmware from my custom one without getting any errors, if you could please leave instructions I would be grateful, thanks

yes! you could send it back to apple and they wouldn't know (don't do this though, only a suggestion)

I think you might have to do a DFU restore, and to be uber safe about it, DFU restore to 1.1.1 and then restore normally to 1.1.4....just to be safe

My iPod Touch was always in sleep mode. So I went into DFU mode and restored to 1.1.4.
All worked. NOT bricked. Maybe it was your 1.1.1 file...?
