Hi , whenever I press the safe mode button my iPod just
resprings. Also, when my springboard crashes, it just resprings. I know the problem
but wanted to know a fix for it. It is quickboard widgets. But I love quickboard so I don't want to delete it, and I need to go into safe modes for the big apps that I bought from app store

    thanks in advance

Solution: Remove it. Reboot it. Safe mode it. Respring it. Install it. Reboot it. Enjoy it.

Try it, I know it is a long process but I had to do this for some of my items.

Actually I don't think the problem is quickboard. Both my devices do it (I fixed it on my iPhone with a restore)

I think the problem is in mobilesubstrate but I'm not sure. What mine does is it resprings twice (one to get into safemode and the other kicks itself out of safemode) I'm guessing thats what your problem is too?

or you could use swapmode (get it in cydia) instead of safe mode

Then i would strongly recommend you do a full restore and (dont restore from a backup) also don't install to many mobile substrate addons

Well, I have 16 MS addons and my iPod isn't laggy.

I suggests to disable with SBSettings -> More -> Mobile substrate addons the addons you don't use, for example Veency.
