I read other posts about this, but nothing worked for me and I didn't want to bump a 6 month old thread.

Every time I respring, reboot, or force quit Safari, the history is erased. I have tried changing permissions of /private/var/mobile/Library/Safari/History.plist to 777 and the whole ~/Library/Safari directory to 777 (recursively). I also tried deleting History.plist, then everything in /Safari except Bookmarks.plist, and still no luck. After I deleted History.plist, I went in Safari and went to some pages but no History.plist was created (seems like a problem).

I feel I have searched enough and tried enough things to earn the right to ask for help... It's pretty annoying because I sometimes look up themes and such, then install them and respring, and I have to find the pages I was on manually. Any help is very appreciated!
