So when i try to play a video in Safari like a movie trailer nothing comes but a lego block with a question mark in it. I think it can't find the plug-in or something? I ssh'd into it and it says i have the quicktime plug-in so what's wrong?

If its jailbroken try Cydia (or Icy) and look for imobilecinema that will help you play flash formatted videos.

I have almost the same problem.
I can't watch any Quicktime Movies with Safari, too, perhaps there's a bug in Safari Downlad Plugin, because it hapened when I tried to deactivate it with SBSettings, but it didn't work, so I tried it with BossPrefs (old Version) and now neither download plugin nor quicktime is working. Instead it loads the video as a text file (when I open it directly), or I also get the Block with Question mark.

aahhh. i had that back in 2.2.1. I uninstalled both toggles and bosspreds and just installed the safari download toggle. They don't synchronise themselves and mess each other up. You can't use both. I've got it working fine on my 3.0.

Thanks, but that didn't help me.
I came up with the idea of resetting my iPod's Settings (Not restoring), and guess what, It helped!
