Has anyone had issues with safari when turning the touch back on from sleep or standby mode whatever it is called? Lately safari will have problems completely loading a page or letting me press buttons. Anyone?

I've noticed that if you leave it open and then lock your iPod touch it will slow it down, but that's just in random cases. Any more details?

If the buttons aren't functioning, then it may be a permissions problem.
    Try setting permissions to 755.
*If it's only after unlocking then it may just be the iPod acting a bit sluggish.

If this doesn't help then you can always just reinstall. Look in the Application Back-up thread here.

Ok here's some more specific info. When coming back from sleep, sometimes the webpage buttons wont function. Ill refresh the site and sometimes the refresh will time out midway thru only displaying half the page. Finally, sometimes after refreshing the buttons still wont work. Closing safari and reopening doesn't always fix it. Most times I need a restart. This problem only started yesterday but I browse alot so it's happened quite a few times since.

Can't you just close safari before locking it? Seems easy to me.

I can't say if that's a hardware/software problem... I'd say it happens because when you put it in sleep mode, it stops all proccesses and slows everything down to store battery. So it kinda slows your wifi signal down for a while.
