get historyDl, then you can edit where it saves in settings.

you just create a link from root/Downloads to whatever folder you want it in

How do you create a link properly?

I created one with WinSCP to "/private/var/mobile/Downloads"
but opening it with finder doesn't do anything.

    Help?

[edit: an alternative option i just discovered was turning on system file sccess in mobile finder settings, which allowed me to access root/Downloads]

Even though there's a way around this (hassle), there must be a file that can be modified in the web plugin folder so that it saves to mobile\downloads instead of root\downloads. little help?

it's called a Symbolic Link, and it has been covered in the popular Safari Download plugin threads. try doing a search of the forum. I personally made a good post on a *******ula thread.
