I have a iPod Touch 3G, firmware 3.1.3, jailbroken with Spirit. I installed Safari Download Manager, but for some reason, every time I try to download something with it, the download fails. I don't think I have the Safari Download Plugin unless it already comes with iPod... =/ Am I missing something??

Check permissions on /Library/Downloads with iFile - if it's not set to read/write/execute for all users or if the folder is owned by someone other than user and group 'mobile', the program can't save files to that folder.

You have to have the Safari Download Plug-in installed as well. It does not already come with the iPod Touch. So you have to go to Cydia and seach it. Then download it. After that you should be able to easily download files.

No you don't - SDM is independent of the free plugin. Check folder permissions.
