Hmm, try clearing your cookies and cache. A respiring/reboot may help as well.

Do you have Activator installed? If so, what do you have set?

ive deleted caches cookies and rebooted springboard, ive turned off my ipod and turned it back on and it still crashes. i have no activators either.

I have noticed that it only does this kind of thing when i have anything selected on winterboard. if i unselect everything it wont crash but then i'd have a lame ipod.

Well, it's got to be one of those things most likely. Of the items you had enabled previously, enable them one at a time, and try zooming in Safari again. When you enable one and Safari crashes, that's the problem child. Report back here once you've found the culprit.

Try turning off Summerboard mode. That's caused problems for people.
