Hmmm, im not sure what the problem is here...

But if im browsing a website, say facebook for example, it will suddenly freeze and safari will close, all within 2 seconds.

    Happens on various sites.

Anyone had this before? how do you stop it?

    Thanks!

Update to 2.2, Safari will be more stable. Don't worry about it though, it happens to everyone.

I have 2.2 and it still happens from time to time. I dont think there's much you can do.

Yes, but on 2.1 it happens all the time... My iPhone and my iPod crash even when on ifans.com! It's awful...

Try and update to 2.2 and clear your safari cache and cookies. Then try again.

I'm on 2.2 and it has never happened to me. So, like the others, my recommendation is to update.

It's usually a memory issue that crashes safari. Restart your device to flush the memory and try again.
