I recently jailbroke my Ipod Touch 2g, and I started downloading apps from Cydia and Installer. I downloaded one from Cydia called dTunes. It may be working, but I dont want it on my iPod anymore. I uninstalled it through Cydia, but when I try to play videos through the safari quicktime player, it brings me to the dTunes menu. Sometimes selecting "Play in Media Player" works, but sometimes it doesnt.

Bottom line: How do I get the original Safari Quicktime Player back?

OK, I figured it out. When you uninstall dTunes, you dont uninstall the Safari Plugin. So I went into Cydia, uninstalled it, and restarted my iPod. It works! Thanks anyways for being available.

That menu is not dTunes. It is Safari Download PlugIn. It comes bundled with dTunes but also comes alone. It's a know fault unfortunately. Your best bet is to kill safari completely and find the video again.
