    discription:

my ipod touch was jailbroken on the 3.0 and somehow mobile substrate screwed it up, so it froze sometimes at the spring board when i pressed home it would be frozen so i needed to reboot and i think every second reboot after the apple logo then the black screen then there would be the spinning wheel of death like u would see when u restart ur spring board, and for some reason i clicked the reset all settings button (or something like that) after it did the apple logo and the loading on the bottom (like when u restore) then it kept on doing the spinning wheel of death over the apple logo but instead it overlapped again and again and again then it would do the white screen and then reboot and do it over again i was away from my computer that i sync with so i didn't do dfu, when i got to the computer that i synced with i put it into dfu and then the problems were happening like the apple logo and the spinning wheel of death and the freezing one, and then one night i was on safari on google and then a white screen and then it was frozen on the apple logo until the battery was drained then i pluged into the charger and it still was on the apple logo then drained then computer then drained so then i did dfu for the second time and still some the problems were there

so then i tried going into itunes and clicking that restore button and then while it was restoring it gave me an error on the computer and then then ipod was off then i did the method for rebooting and then it had the connect to itunes on it, then i restored

then i just left my ipod on my desk for a few weeks then when i heard that 3.1(3.1.1) was out i did dfu and restored to the 3.1.1 and it still has some problems but now there was a problem with the music player

problems that i had on 3.0 that now aren't on 3.1:
    some the icon pics changed

    overall what i have tried
    dfu 2 times (3.0)
    restoring from itunes (3.0)
    dfu and restore to 3.1.1

    now pls help me ASAP

if you want to be selfish and not help me fine be like that

    1. Make sure you are in DFU
    2. make sure you don't restore with your backup.
    3. Seperate your post into paragraphs.

DFU Restore is the best option.
