First of all, I apologize if this is wrong section, or if it violates the rules. [I have seen other Hackintosh threads before] Please move/remove if necessary.

Okay, I REALLY want to make apps for the iPhone, but my dinosaur of a computer is most definitely out of reach of running OS X. I am young, so I can't buy a Mac, I can't even afford a standard Hackintosh. So I was considering the Dell Inspiron Mini 9, I looked it up, and suprisingly enough, there are a bunch of guides for it. But, I was not sure if my specs were ok for this, and if I could make apps easily enough. (Note - This guide does not involve getting an Illegal copy of the OS X.)

    Here is the guide.
    (Via Gizmodo)

    Here are my specs:

    Obsidian Black
    Running Ubuntu (Will be removed.)
    1 GB DDR2 Memory
4 GB SSD (W/ 80 GB SSD External Hardrive.)
    External USB CD-ROM
Should I add Bluetooth? (This will be my Mac until I can afford a real one)
Webcam Included. (Not that it matters)

You guys think this will run the Sdk well? Or should I add 16GB SSD pre-installed.

If you need any more info just post!

    And please, remove/move if necessary.

I went with the bigger SSD, but that's just me.
RAM is so cheap, you almost have no excuse for not getting 2GB.

Just to let you know, there is no way to "Legally" have a hackintosh, as Apple state that OS X may only be used on Apple branded computer (no putting an apple sticker from your iPod/iPhone doesn't make it ok). Also patching it is also illegal, so sorry it's not LEGAL.

It violates the EULA, and so does jailbreaking, jailbreaking is not illegal, ergo hackintosh not illegal. In my opinion.

I do not endorse nor have a non-Apple computer running the Macintosh OS.

    Gotta have the disclaimer.
