    sorry about all the threads in this section but i find ipodtouchfans to be quickest forum for someone to reply.

    When I build my application it comes up with this error:

    File /Users/user_name/Documents/Devolpment Files/Application_Name/build/Debug-iphoneos/Application_Name.app depends on itself. This target might include its own product.ML]

    the weird thing is at one point it was working and then i cant really remember what i changed but now it doesnt work,

    can anyone help?

    Thanks

    idk if the development of the iphone os is similar to programming something in java but you should check your files and make sure that everything is coded and referenced correctly. If everything is coded correctly check the file-path to where your app is saved.

    also, are you trying to get the app to work on your device? or on your mac?

    try cleaning the targets by going to Build --> Clean targets

    yeh thanks that made me think, i had deleted a build in finder but the reference in xcode was still there, after i deleted the reference it worked fine, except it comes up with this error when building the distribution profile, does anyone know what this means?

    in the info.plist there is a key named Executable file and it needs to read
    Code:
     ${EXECUTABLE_NAME}
    that might be the problem
