Is there any possibility to run 2 apps at the same time on a ipad by running them into a split screen?

I have never heard of an app that allows for split screen. But it would be possible someone would just have to make it.

Check out AlwaysOnPC, split browser, slipt screen, etc... All for iPad though...

as long as they both don't take a lot of ram or CPU cycles I don't see why not, but it would probably take a decent amount of work and probably be a paid app.

Would be good to see it as an iOS4 feature tbh, run two iPhone applications side-by-side. Would make iPhone versions really very useful and relevant on the iPad.

I've always imagined this... running two iPhone apps simultaneously.

If a jailbroken iPad can run two apps under backgrounder... it *should* be able to handle running two on screen at the same time...

On the iPad it would be ok
iPhones screen is so small - that anything more than one app on the screen at a time would be extremely difficult to view or use.

Yeah, there's not really any point on the iPhone or iPod Touch...
