This is a discussion thread for the "Rumor: Apple Has 3.9-inch iPhone in Testing" story posted on the front page.
If Apple is currently "testing" based on rumors, then its a good possibility that the next iPhone released at WWDC won't have a larger display.
That's also true, but hasn't Apple announced their iPhone 4 at WWDC? If not iPhone or iPod touch and definitely not iPad, is the WWDC announcement going to be purely Mac related? Or is there another product line like the iPad Mini rumors have been pointing out?
Of course no-one knows for sure, but last year they introduced iOS 5 so one would probably expect iOS 6 and the first beta to be released and probably the next iPhone announced in a couple of months later (like last year) but we'll see
I dig it. I really think Apple and apple's customers would benefit from an almost 4" display for the next iPhone. Just think about it... 1080P HD recording 12-Megapixel Camera 4" display Thats really all I want out of the new phone but I am still salivating none-the-less
WWDC is first and foremost, a developer conference. The primary focus will be on new and updated software, not hardware. We will likey hear information and the first beta of iOS 6 at that time, with the final release to coincide with the new iPhone announcement in the fall.
Def not to see, but man, after you drive thru a few dill and mustard crops, that aroma, you are ready to eat the next cow you see. OT, that display looks like something I could handle. As long as the phone's physical dimensions remain the same, I'd be happy using that.
