    One random little thing -- In the rules it states that emulators are legal but BIOS' etc. aren't.. This information is incorrect, the BIOS', if in ownership of the console, are legal to have and be used as a 'backup'. The case of SONY vs CONNECTIX found that unauthorized emulation is perfectly legal as long as the game roms that are used, along with the BIOS; are in currant ownership of the user. EG. Say you go down the street and buy the NES game Zelda, and own a NES system, well then once you get home, it is legal to download and play the ROM on an emulation compatible system, or a computer.

    I may not be correct in stating this, but im 99.9% sure that i am :p
    not that i really emulate anyways..

    You are correct, however that doesn't give you the right to distribute those BIOS files through a public forum. It is still illegal to distribute this material since you have no way of verifying that the people seeing the links are owners of the console.

    Just to add onto this, Nintendo strictly prohibits the redistribution of their ROMs and BIOS and even making 'backup copies.'
