Is there a way (or app) to prevent auto rotation through Activator, such as swiping down on the status bar? I mean similar to the iPad, which has a rotation switch. What I would like is the same thing, but rather than a switch, an action on the screen.

    TIA

I believe Rotation Inhibitor comes with a toggle for SBSettings.

I know, i Have it. But it is cumbersome to open SBsettings just to turn off rotation. I have to swipe, wait for it to open (my iPod can be SLOW) click it, wait for it to turn off/on, then close SB settings. I'd rather have it part of activator

    Solution

I have SBRotator 4 installed, and the second option under Settings>SBRotator is Activation Methods, which I have set to Status Bar: Hold. It's so much faster than having to do the steps you described above! The best thing is that it still works with the main rotation part of SBRotator off. I find that handy because I have no need for SBRotator's main function (at the moment).
