Root.zip Delete

    After jailbreaking a large file root.zip is on your phone. Is it ok to delete this file.

    I guess so, I never bothered to do that though. It's one of the files put when you visit jailbreakme.com to do the first jailbreak part. As you can see, it contains the base directories and tools which are now unzipped on your iPod, so it's not necessary anymore.

    There are also all those Subversion work copy caches (.svn) everywhere... that's the mess you get when people have spare gigabytes to waste

    I'd love to see a list of files that can be deleted to free up space.

    After many posts in many forums, still no definitive answer on whether you can delete root.zip.

    u can delete all the iphone stuff like visual voicemail etc i guess *dont quote me on that*
