ripping DVDs

    hi all. I heard a rumor (i dont know if its true) that with itunes 7 you could rip DVDs or something...you put the DVD in your pc, itunes picks it up and then with the redemption code (which i cant find on my DVDs

    ) you can rip the DVD. firstly i would like to know if this is possible with itunes 9. My only problem is itunes9 wont pick up any of the DVDs i put in my pc, would any of you be able to help me?

    Unless the DVD comes with a digital copy, itunes does crap

    Try a program like handbrake to convert dvds to mpeg4's

    lol, you reply to every post i make. I got hand break but I have problems actually getting the videos of the DVD. Once i got the vid file im away. I normally download movies but being New Zealand (Home to some of the worlds worst internet) I only get 10gb of broadband a month and if i tried....I could use that easily in a few hours.

    In handbrake under source select "DVD Drive" and then click the ipod touch output setting
