I know the correct term is iPod Touch but I prefer iTouch. I was wondering if the iPod Touch Fans community could help me find the ideal application to ripping music off my iTouch. I honestly do not want to restore it just yet, as I need the music beforehand. I also prefer that the application suggested is free, because paying for such a thing is stupid. Thanks in advance.

If you use Mac OS X, get Senuti which is Free.

TuneAid for Windows but is Shareware.

Or for both Platforms, DiskAid. But you have to drag your iTunes_Control folder since it can't decode the Library that has the names etc. Just drag it into iTunes and everything will be hunky dory.

By the way. I am suspecting that you stole the iPod Touch in question.

I think you did steal it, how could music get on your ipod if you don't already have it on your computer, which insinuates that you stole it cause you need to rip it off the ipod cause it's not on your computer. BTW, i am pissed right now cause someone stole my iphone 3g and my wallet.

The iPhone 3G has a GPS Chip along with 3G, Wifi, and Edge Chips. Ask your service provider or the Police to track it and find the little f*** that stole it. Then teach him a lesson. Show him to his new Husband, Little John in Prison

Wow, that royally sucks!!!! Sorry man!

Now about the iPod, I think it would make sence that its stolen. I have mine set that if you put in the incorrect passcode 10 times, it wipes it out, so the touch that stole it, no longer has my info/music/apps/mail/etc. I think its a good idea. And to my knowledge, it wont work when connected to iTunes, unless you enter the code. But yeah, how the hell did "you" get music on it from "your" computer, and then need to rip it back to your PC? There was no mention of OS problems, requiring a re-install, or a new PC, or a new HD.
