    Hi,
I am running 3.0 on an iPod Touch, I have the 3.0 SDK.
If someone can provide me with the information on how to test an xcode iphone app on my ipod touch without paying the $99 fee, with step by step, detailed and working information, they can share my [PIRACY.rs] account. I have already created a certificate, with the name iPhone Developer. When i tried these methods below i got the error:
    Code:
Code Sign error: a valid provisioning profile matching the application's Identifier 'com.yourcompany.Demo' could not be found
I have looked at similar posts on this forum, and all over the internet, such as:
    Code:
    http://www.cuppadev.co.uk/platforms/running-your-own-iphone-applications-without-paying-the-developer-fee/

However, i have not been able to get any of these to work.
I am proficient with computers, however very new to mac and the sdk.
    Thanks everyone

regarding - MI/AS (not allowed to say the full name, AS refers to 3.0) I understand and may have already done this purely for the purpose of testing my own apps.

Sakurina has a great guide on this that works with 3.x. Find that link and you'll do fine.

Also, if you're offering a reward, then just spend the money and do things the right way.

I will purchase the dev program eventually, however im not ready to yet.
The [PIRACY.rs] costs nothing compared to the dev account, because i dont have to purchase anything new i just share something i already have.

Thanks a ton for that, ive found the guide it looks extremely promising, no wonder the other things weren't working (they have been disabled with the 3.0 sdk)

Surprisingly enough, this has managed to work for me numerous amounts of times:

Build and Go as RELEASE for device. You'll get the error. Choose "Product" in your sidebar, and right click the .app and "Reveal in Finder". Go into Organizer, then press the + button below "Applications". Go into that finder folder, and choose the .app in there.

It's quite simple, really, and it works for me. I'm not a registered dev yet, so...

No. I used to run a Community Source repository for the iPhone and iPod touch. I have all the serverspace and bandwidth I could ever need.

Could you please post the link in case anyone else comes across this problem in the future?

Oh ok, i was mainly referring to for downloads.
    The link for everyone is:
    http://r-ch.net/iphone/3.0_nocodesign.html
I havent tried to get it working yet but i will soon and ill let you know.
    ------------------double post merged------------------
Ok I have tried following that guide, however I have run into a few problems (referring to: http://r-ch.net/iphone/3.0_nocodesign.html and http://iphonesdkdev.blogspot.com/2008/12/how-to-compile-iphone-project-in-mac.html).. I do not have internet access on my mac (=no ssh), however I have DiskAid on my OS X so I can use that for access to the device.
By running make, and then make install (make install obviously didnt completely work), i was able to create the demo app folder, which I copied to my device using DiskAid, and then resprang. However, with the app on the springboard, showing the correct icon, however when i tried to launch the app it just started to launch, then quit (didnt show the launch screen, it was just black.)
Any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated
