    Review
Who Wants to Be A Millionaire is an iPhone version of the smash hit television game show bearing the same name. The visuals, gameplay, and sound closely model those of the game show most accurately to the smallest detail making the player feel as if he/she is in the "hot seat."

The player goes through 15 multiple choice trivia questions to reach a million dollars; each of them doubling in value. The four lifelines are there just like in the game show: Double Dip, Ask the Audience, Phone a Friend, and Ask an Expert. Double Dip lets the player have two chances to answer a question, Ask the Audience polls the audience and shows it on a bar graph, Phone a Friend lets the player choose people from their iPhone's contacts to get an imaginary opinion, and Ask an Expert lets the player get the thought of a previous winner of Millionaire as to the particular question (though this lifeline is only activated after the $1,000 question).

The questions that the player is asked have much variety, going through the wide range that the game show possesses. Prior to the 1.5.0 update, the iPhone version of the game would have a small amount of questions, prompting many users to make complaints in the comments section of the app. Compared to the price of $4.99, this game didn't have a good replay value. However in this update, 100 more questions were added, adding to the replay value of this game.

Some criticism can be added in the field that there is no scoreboard, either local or worldwide as in other version of Millionaire for mobile devices and video game systems. Also some users find the introductory sequence before each round (a video clip of the host saying "Let's Play Millionaire") annoying, especially after playing multiple games, as it can't be skipped by tapping on the screen as in many iPhone games.

    Conclusion
Graphics: 10/10 - Amazing gameplay graphics, no lagging
Sounds: 10/10 - Sounds are high quality and match that of the game show
Controls: 10/10 - Simple and great, just tap and choose your lifeline or answer
Gameplay: 9/10 - iPhone phonebook integration is present, however there are a couple of flaws in that the introductory sequence which can't be skipped, as well as there being no scoreboard to keep track of how far players go
Replay value: 8/10 - There is a limited supply of questions which can be a flaw if updates aren't made often
Price: $4.99 from the App Store
Device played on: iPhone (all generations), iPod Touch (all generations)
Firmware played on: 2.2 and later
Overall: 8.5/10 - Great game, great execution, great visuals - the game could use more regular updates to the question database as well as fixes to a few defects in gameplay, such as there being no scoreboard and a bothersome, intrusive introductory sequence before every round of play

Way too short, and it needs some pics.

    Ok

Its rating is like almost perfect score.
    No picture
    Too short
Possible not covered the whole detail in the app
No thumbview to see the App Pic on the Sub-Thread
    Barely informative
Not even in your own words just copied and paste

    Review 1/5 stars

great write up but presentation could do with some work and a few more screenshots wouldn't go amiss. Plus your scoring is way too high given your complaints about the game.

My question is...what is this difference between this app...and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire 2010??

I think I got both lite versions and they looked the same. But now the 2010 one is $1.99 but the other one is still 4.99 What is the difference anyone know??

Updated questions. Question packs that you can purchase as well. A progress meter showing you how many questions you've been through so far in each question pack. Nicer animations. The ability to turn off the annoying videos.

Which one are you saying is nicer? The regular one, or the 2010 one?
