Here is my review of stealth guards for the iPod Touch 4G!

You can order your stealth guard here:

    Initial Thoughts:

    - The packaging is an envelope, and the shipping really cost 50 cents. This shows that the shields are in fact not free. (I already knew this however)
    - For the inexpensive price, you can't expect fancy packaging.
    - The shield doesn't attract fingerprints.
    - Doing a dry install is tough.
    - No installation solution is included.

    Installation:

Installation was fairly easy, although I'm very experienced, so I knew exactly what I was doing. For the a person new to screen protectors, they might want to take the safe route of using the solution. (They give you directions on how to make your own solution on the website)

    End Results:

The Front applied perfectly, I started by unpeeling half of the shield so I still had something to grab on to. I then lined up the edge and the home button and worked my way down the device.

The back was much easier to apply, mainly because I wasn't as worried about getting it perfect... since it's just the back, I was only worried about scratches, and this does the just the trick. It's also easier to line up since you have the camera and the microphone as a point of reference.

Here's the end result of the back:

    Final Thoughts:

For the price, this is a great deal. I decided to order one for my Droid as well, and they do a great job of providing basic protection.
I wish the back was more covered, that would make for a more complicated install.

Overall, I give it a 7/10, simply because it does not have that orange peel effect which I was looking forward to, and it does not cover a good portion of the edges. It does provide optimum protection for the front which matters a lot to me. I recommend you buy this product, especially at it's low price

Even if you decide you want a Zagg later down the road, this is good for practicing screen protection application!

The coverage sucks on Stealth Guards! The front is okay, but the back? Whats the point of putting a skin on, if all the edges/corners are exposed! And those fingeprints! Are those underneath the skin, or on top? Looks poorly fitted (crooked) along the sides as well, glad I got Bestskinsever. I think wet application is far more superior than dry.

The quality and thickness of wet application are way better I think. I only don't feel comfortable with water near/on the device

Stealth Guards are wet installations. If you get fingerprints underneath, you installed it wrong... It's a wet install, you have to make your own solution: 10oz of water + 1 drop of hand soap.

They really seem to suck huh?
I'd use them as a alternative, like if you're like me - don't want to spend money
