    Stealth Guards

This was my very first install of an adhesive shield for the back of an iPod, I was expecting it to be challenging, but it was actually pretty easy

. I sprayed my solution to the back of the shield (DO NOT SPRAY DIRECTLY TO THE iPOD) and aligned it on the back, using the camera hole as a guide. Waited 5 minutes so that it would not slide anymore when trying to squeege, and then used my palms so the corners and side will stick on properly.

    Pros of Stealth Guards

    • Price -Technically, it was FREE! I only had to pay the shipping

. It's on for a LIMITED TIME, so get in quick!

    • Quality - The quality is good, it adds grip when I hold the iPod which I very like it

    Cons of Stealth Guards

    • Amount of coverage - This is what differentiates StealthGuards from invisibleSHIELD and BestSkinsEver. StealthGuards doesn't fully cover the bottom, and doesn't fully cover the corners.

Argyle / Diamond Pattern TPU case

Some people call this case Argyle, or Diamond. Whatever you choose, it's the same one I'm talking about

. This TPU case is really nice, it hugs the iPod very tight which makes me feel it's very secured.

One thing that I think is worth mentioning too is the pattern of the TPU case is in the inside of the case, not the outside. I assume this is is good, because it will absorb shocks and bumps better, since the pattern inside will absorb the shocks and not the back of your iPod.

When I used this TPU case with my iPod that has StealthGuards shield installed at the back, it didn't cause any peeling off - BUT it did make the shield have these 'dots', it was caused by the patterns inside this TPU case. So I'm just throwing it out there for you people that are planning to have this type of setup for your iPod.

Pros of Argyle / Diamond TPU case

    • Price - It's relatively cheap, pretty good for its price.

    • Design - I liked the design, its Argyle pattern somewhat makes a 'classier effect' for me. It does not cover the speakers at the bottom, and the dock connector is widely open, making it easy to connect it to docks/speaker system.
    • Quality - Its tight fitting feature is a plus. It ensures your iPod won't fall off your hands when holding it

Cons of Argyle / Diamond TPU case

    • Colors - This particular TPU case only comes in a variety of 4 colors, Black, Pink, Clear, and Smoke

    * I haven't put on any pics because my camera isn't very decent at capturing textures.

Drop your ipod and tell me how the case holds up. Is it good?

Actually, I did drop it this morning as I got out of bed.

Luckily I had my TPU on, it held up pretty good. No dents or damages to the iPod or to the case

How are the button alignment and are the hardware buttons easy to press?

Awesome. What was the water:soap ratio in your solution? I'm going to be putting mine on soon.

I got 2 of these, a Smoke and a Clear. Personally, I like the Smoke better than Clear. The Power Button is easy to press. It doesn't have a hole cutout for it. It's hard to put in words but there is like a plastic moulded to fit the shape of Power button and the Volume buttons. Now, I find the Volume buttons a bit harder to press on than the Power. The Speaker Grill at the bottom has a cutout as well as the Camera and Mic

    It should be 3:1

You don't need a LOT of soap

You just need a bit to ensure the shield would slide on for alignment
