Hey, iAsian here reviewing this absolutely fabulous case! Lets get right down to business shall we?

    I. Overview

Does $35 sound too much for you? Well it did for me, which almost made me completely avoid purchasing the case, however after viewing countless review videos from YouTube, I decided on not giving up my hunt for a cheaper website to purchase it. Thank goodness for Google Shopping and I found this fantastic website TheGreatGuys. I was surprised by their selling price at $19.95 ($25 with shipping in the United States). I went ahead and bought it and I received it five days later. Quite quick in my standard because some of the other accessories I have bought for my 1G (when I still used it) usually arrived in 7-8 days.

    Overview of Speck Candyshell.

The outside is made of stiff white plastic (or black) and the inside is made of very flexible rubber. The edges are also made of rubber so when you drop it on its side, the rubber absorbs some of the impact. The protection is absolutely fabulous, does what a case does! GREAT FOR A ONE PIECE CASE!!!

Once you place the iPod inside the case, it will stay in there...the only thing it's quite hard to take out...but hey, what's the point of a case if the iPod only slips out?! To prevent the screen from being affected when dropped face flat, Speck added a "lip" to provide clearance from the surface of your iPod and the floor (or table, desk, etc). The buttons are surprisingly easy to press even with the cover. You all don't have to worry about it being a lint "magnet" because it really isn't (from my experience).

I really don't have to post much photos since it's an easy-to-install one-piece case. Just snap it on and you're good to go basically! As you can see, I'm rollin' retro with "Badge" by the talented TheAppleTree.

Notes: I took these photos with my iPhone 3GS. haha

    III. Scores

    Affordability: 7/10 (for $35) 9.5/10 (for $20)
    Installment: 10/10
    Removal: 8/10
    Look: 10/10
    Weight: 9.5/10
    Bulkiness: 9/10
    Color Variety: 4/10

Overall: 9/10 (or in letter grade: "A")

Summary: It is perhaps THE BEST CASE that you can get for the iPod touch 2G, it's is very affordable through TheGreatGuys and it provides FANTASTIC protection while looking great! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CASE FOR ANYONE!

I wish they'd have one in a black & white color, I don't like the almost pink looking red.

Not a fan of the yellow and black combination either.

I'm definitely considering this after my Slider broke. You don't know any stockists in Ireland, do you? It's not on Apple.com. Nice review.

Damn you! Thanks for all the positive replies and yes "reaper00004" I will most definitely let you know when it starts sagging...which I highly doubt due to the outer shell being constructed of plastic.

It doesn't look pink or even comes close to looking pink...it's definitely red.

TheGreatGuys don't ship internationally sorry, but Speck does for sure. I haven't tried that code that reaper posted, but it doesn't hurt to give it a shot. Whatever the case, this case is absolutely worth the money...I might post another review once I've had this case longer.

how bad is this as far as scratches go? is it was easy to scratch as the ipod's back? is it more or less noticible?
