Nice first review for the MR Team. I agree with your comments. Pockettouch is a very useful and well programmed app that just needs a few UI tweaks and in-app instructions for novice users.

Very nice Jack! This might just be my overlooking, but I don't think there is an App Store link in there.

I think you're correct TDG, so I just added one in for him.

it would've been better if it was black instead of the red-ish background. i don't really mind it to be honest, pocket touch is still great.

How is the App Store version different/better than Pocket Touch 3.0.2 in Cydia by Skylar?

    Are they the same product?

Lol, sometimes I just can't control the algorithm. The app makes the color it wants to see! : ) Although, I don't think that looks bad. The colors don't clash, at least.

There are worlds of difference between the two versions. First of all, you can't select new tracks to play or create playlists within the 3.0.2 version (currently in Cydia and firmware 3.x incompatible). Also, the theme editing is much more robust in the new version. The pervious version left you to choose between a limited amount of colors.

If you fully read the review, you'd see the differences. The new version, which has been completely recoded from scratch. Hence the new version number. I took advantage of this recoding to add new features and benefits. While the original PocketTouch was a mere few hundred lines, the new PocketTouch contains over 19,000 lines of code. This is because every object in the application is a custom object.
