Have you ever wanted to blow off some steam. Then this game is for you! The popular strategy game, Pocket Tanks, that originated on PC, is now on your iPhone! Here's the Review

When you first press "Play" you'll notice you have 3 main options. 1 player is where you can play head to head against a computer. 2 player is where you play with your friend alternatively. At this moment there is know Wi-Fi

    .
The last option is Target Practice, choose this option to play with a friend and get to know the controls a little better.

Lets go to the next part, shall we?
This is where you choose your name, and the color of your tank. Your name is limited to 8 characters and will be all CAPS. There are 8 colors for you to choose from; red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, and magenta.

After you press "continue" you will see a selection screen. This is where you choose the difficulty of the computer. There are 10 different difficulty levels. 1 is the easiest, and 10 is the hardest.

Now lets go to the weapon selection page. In the lite version there are 35 different weapons. In the paid version, there are over 100. At this screen, you can select 10, out of 20 randomly selected weapons. Or you can press "Random". The computer tends to pick the best weapons that you don't pick.

Now to the game-playing. In the top right and left corners you have your scores. Different weapons give you different amounts of points. You have quite a few options. There is the "Move" option, which lets you move four steps. Use this when you are confident on your trajectory. There is the "Weapon" selection, which you use to select one of your offensive or defensive weapons. There is the angle "Angle" option, which is used to select your angle to shoot your opponent. There is the "Power" option, which you use to select the amount of power to shoot. And there is the very useful "FIRE" button. Obviously use that to fire your weapon.

this is more of a how-to than a review...

    how are the visual affects?
is the sound good like in the original?
    was this a successful port?
    how easy are the controls?

focus more on 3 of the 5 senses. see, touch, hear.

Absolutely agree with you. This is not really a review honestly. You only give ratings on the visuals, gameplay, etc. You need to explain your points. Ask yourself, why is the game fun? Then explain it in your review.

I don't like this game. I like games where you hold down the fire button to choose the amount of power, like iShoot and Worms.

i love the diverse weaponry of this game but honestly the controls are too screwy and horrible. ishoot imo (like everyone else) is extremely superior.
