I am considering buying but I have two questions: 1) Can I play this on my iPT 2g and 2) is it pretty nessecary for me to have previously owned NOVA 1. I've only played the free version. BTW Great review. You answered a lot of my questions.

    1. I think so. Nobody in the iTunes review section of the app made any complaint about it not working.
    2. Not at all!

Well, Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus certainly is a huge improvement over everything else Gameloft has done, but yes...

Most Gameloft games are still sh*t.

I finally bought the game and I absolutely love it. I do think think that Infinity Blade is a tad bit better. BTW it does work on iPT 2g

N.O.V.A. 2 is jam packed with action, you can not go 20 seconds without having to shoot or blow up something. This is not boring, but because of Gameloft sticking a ton of weapons and powers to the mix and a fantastic system upgrade that you can build yourself by yourself. The enemies are much more strategic now and all the AI system has improved dramatically.

A few action sequences and a questionable hard to believe the story to prevent single-player campaign to be a real star, but there are few complaints to be filed against robust multiplayer and the introduction of the ECA.

Thanks! I've tried both and I think I like them both equally, it's hard to chose between them both.
