This is the long awaited Xbox Live application. There have been two others so far, but neither of them compare to this.

    Name: iLive.
    Price: £1.19 ($2).
    Developer: Geeky Goodness.
    Category: Lifestyle.

This is an Xbox Live app to keep track of your friends. It's easy to add your friends - Just by tapping the cross in the top right corner. Type in the gamertag that you want to add and it adds it.

When a friend signs into Xbox Live, a notification will pop up on screen telling you. NOTE: This will not happen instantly. The app is on a loop which is 60 seconds, so don't expect instant gratification coz you won't be getting it. Patience - It does work. What's more - is when you do get the pop-up, it makes the Xbox Live Achievement sound!

Also, you'll see on the bottom of the screen, a small badge over the "Online" tab. This tells you how many people are online on your friends list. Tap on this tab and it shows your online friends.

Exit the app, and the badge appears on the icon too!

Now for the detail. Tap on any friend and it brings up their Status, Moto, Score, Zone, Lasted Played Game, and of course, Gamertag and Avatar.

You can also add your favourite friends into the Favourites tab, and keep an eye on them. (Useful to put your clan in, if you have one.)

Finally, future updates will fix the Avatar glitch that you have after you add people, and a later update will give the user the ability to send Xbox Live messages to other people from WITHIN the app!

Overall, I'm going to give the app 9/10. The only problem is the avatar glitch - but don't be put off by it because the developer has told me it has already been fixed and sent to Apple. Buy this now if you have Xbox Live! It's a step above the rest.

Proof of messaging? Look no further:

Woot! Now Xboxers will have something to do when their 360s get RRODed! (Don't worry, that's only like... what, twice a month?)

But I suppose the RROD has to be worse than all the PS3's that have been bricked due to crappy firmware updates
