eBattalion was giving away free promo codes here for their new game "FL!P", only asking for some reviews if we liked it. Since I liked it, I'm writing a review for it.

    First Impressions:
My first impressions of FL!P was that it looked clean, not just sloppily thrown together like too many games on the app store are. There are 3 types of game play; Standard, Puzzle, and Speed. FL!P also has a local and global leaderboard, which adds to any game.

    Play Modes:
In standard, the object is to tilt the iPod Touch/iPhone and attempt to get the colored boxes touching other boxes of the same color. It's similar to Tetris or Bejeweled and it's a lot of fun.

In Puzzle, the objective is to tilt the device to get the colored blocks into their correct boxes. I love the concept, some of the puzzles are challenging and they're all fun. A great addition to a great game.

The last mode, Speed, is great as well. The object of Speed is to get the same colored block to touch each other, thus disappearing, before the time runs out, as with the rest of the modes, it's really challenging sometime, but also really fun.

    Leaderboards:
The leaderboards provide a way to increase the competition and keep you coming back for more. Like I said earlier, leaderboards are a great addition to any game and I'm glad to see them in FL!P. They have a leaderboard for both your device, and one that everyone who plays flip can use.

Now for the criticism, I've played it for about half an hour, and I'm not too big of a fan of the accelerometer. In my opinion, it would be much better if you could disable the accelerometer and swipe your finger across the screen to interact with the game. This isn't too hard to implement, so hopefully they'll implement it in a future update.

    The Verdict:
Overall, FL!P is a GREAT game, and for only $1, it's a steal. With an update, FL!P could easily reach perfection, I highly recommend getting it.

Another thing is I found the accelerometer WAY too sensetive
A accelerometer sensetivity meter would be nice

The game looks really spiffy. If the accelerometer are too sensitive though, that's disapointing to hear. But they could easily add a setting for it in a future update.

    Good review.

I think he was just clarifying what they meant by review. Like you said though, never hurts to get the word out.

Also, hey dualBang, didn't know you were a member here as well.
