I've Been Pondering purchasing this app for a couple of weeks now, and I finally decided o do it, and now I will review it.

First off, lets get the technicalities out of the way:
    Name: Battle At Sea
    Category: Games
    Brief Description: Battleship Clone
    Price: $5.99

    And off to the review:

First, select the icon from springboard:

From there, you will see either:

Continue Last Game: This is a feature that I really like, because you can close the app down, go do something else, and then come back to your game.

Now let's explore the tabs on the bottom of the screen:
    1. Help

This just offers multiple facts about the game, and the classic game. Long story short, it is extremely long!

    2. Scores:

This tells you your hit percentage, winnings, etc.

    3. Settings:

    photo-13.jpg

These are pretty self-explanatory, except for classic mode

    Modes:
Classic Mode: Just like the classic battleship game
Not Classic Mode: You get 5 shots per turn is the only thing different I've found.

When starting a game, you will be asked how many players:

Single Player is against the computer, obviously, and Multiplayer mode is currently only under wi-fi, but the developer ensures more options in the future

The UI is nothing to stand in aww of, but it's nothing to complain about either. It's pretty simple:

The one thing I have had trouble with is when picking the squares, it is sometimes hard to select the exact square you want, but if this happens, you can edit it before firing.

The music is decent, basically what you would expect from a game like this, kind of underground war like music, like what you would except from those old splinter cell games for ps1 (I think they still make them, I just was only big on video games when the PS1 was out

    alrite, so here goes:
    Interface: 4/5
    Controls: 4/5
    Addictiveness: 4/5
    Stability: 5/5
    Multiplayer Mode: 5/5
    Overall: 4.5/5

Notes: This game is fun and addicting, and a good remake of the classic. I don't really like any other mode but classic. Multiplayer works great, but I can't wait for the more options than just wi-fi. This is also one of the best non-tilt games, so it can be played in the boring scenarios of cars, trains, planes, etc. Overall, I would highly recommend this title to all.

Yeah it looks nearly identical to anygame of battleship I have ever seen. Cool game though, I think that something like this would be good for long car rides rather than just randomly playing this game.
