If for some reason i need to revert my jailbaited ipod can i turn it back to its virginal self? Or is it perputually jailbroken. I'm only curious because my ipod is currently an 8gb and i was thinking of getting the 32gb i was going to sell my current and then add the cash to my amount i already have. Will just restoring to default firmware fix the issue? Is it as simple as that or is there something else that needs to be done? Advice would nice please

It should be as simple as restore to original firmware.

I thought as much, but with everything that simple you have to treat it with caution

you just have to restore the ipod while in DFU mode. This is the way to restore your ipod to a vanilla OS.

You may have to Shift+Restore and find the original 2.2.1 firmware (it should already be in %APPDATA%\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates\ which you can paste right into the filename field).
    Correct me if I'm wrong.
