If you are returning your iPod Touch soon to the Apple store, there's something that you should check before returning it:

The Dock Connecter in the iPod Touch

If they are green, take a tooth brush, and brush the inside of them until the green is gone. Green means that there is water damage in the dock connecter.

I know this from when I returned my iPod on Sunday.

You can also use a Q-Tip (cotton swab).

    This is very old news.

Make sure the toothbrush is dry first of all, second there is also water sensitive paper in the bottom of the headphone jack too, if its red theyll know it got wet and will give it right back.

I did not know there was one in the dock connector, i knew about the head phone jack. Now how can i make it so they won't notice my cracked screen?

Make the crack worse, then fill it with superglue to remove the air (thus hiding the cracks!). Actually, probably not the best idea. Maybe just keep it upside-down the entire time. xD

just say you left it overnight charging and when you woke up it was REALLY hot and the screen was cracked.
