iPhone 3GS returning iphone 3GS

    i have a jailbroken(geohot) iphone 3GS .My phone is acting up my speaker sometimes does not work ,the wifi isn`t working sometimes and it tends to freeze on safari a good bit ,should i return it r will i restore it first?

    I would do a factory restore and see if the problems still persist. If they do; take it back.

    A restore should fix it.

    if u love ur iphone, dun return it.

    i suggest u restore it, no worries, it will be fine.
    after that, u use redsn0w 0.8 (it is stable)

    Not a recovery mode restore, a DFU restore. You have to do a DFU restore.

    would i be better to install redsnow after i restore it??

    Restore it using DFU, see if it fixes your speaker problem. If it does then jailbreak with Redsn0w, if it doesn't exchange it for another one

    Im having a similar speaker problem
    why would a DFU restore make a difference vs a normal restore or recovery restore?

    ok yea, DFU restore, if that fixes your problem then you're ok, jailbreak and carry on with your life

    if that does not fix your problem, DO NOT RE JAILBREAK, if apple see your phone is JBed they won't touch your phone with a 10 foot barge pole

    again why would DFU restore be different?
