I have a Iphone 3GS supposedly working bought from ebay - Has really weak signal. So I'm seeing the Apple Store tomorrow - gona say something like my dad gave it to me as a pressie, he got it as an upgrade. so I'm restoring the phone tonight (it's jailbroken at the moment for ilocalis), I have the original box and accessories but obviously no original receipt - Warranty still applies until October 2010.

    Should I expect any problems??

    Thanks,

    Just 1 more question:

Checking out the headphone socket the water indicator seems to be 50/50 white/red (a straight break not blurred) iirc thats normal isnt it...

they will never replace free of charge if the indicator has been coloured. my nano that i had used for an hour, never been near water had the tiniest speck of pink (very small) and they refused to fix it for me, i had to pay nearly the price of the nano to get it repaired.

Must have been lucky - I'm using a nice shiny new 3gs right now! Couldnt believe it when he checked (and he checked top and bottom) he said it was clean as a whistle

Just had a thought - What if they realise later on? Would they block the phone somehow?? Or if theyve accepted it thats it as it were??
