Im just wondering how would I go exchanging a iphone if lets say the battery had some problems. Im still in warranty and its jailbroken and unlocked. I know for a ipod touch you can restore and start new and apple won't know. I dont know if the iphone is the same, when you restore it tells you to put in the sim and activate. So?

I don't know about the SIM, but a DFU Restore should wipe all traces of a jailbreak.

You restore, hacktivate, and delete all evidence of a jailbreak.

wow.. thats a real pickle right there.. See if you can find an offcial sim from like a friend or something and use it to activate, then take it to Apple... Otherwise there going to be all like, "How come it's not activated? Where's your SIM card?"

Yes. But just hacktivate it, and their replacement will need to be activated there.
