    Wow your using a good camera. It looks really bad when you zoom in alot in comparison but when you look at it normally they both have clear displays. The retina just gives it that extra sharpness.

    yes very good comparison!

    i agree with the poster before me. from a normal viewing distance, it is difficult to discern any difference between the two. only when you deliberately put the ipod touch close to your face will you be able to tell.

    lol u made a face at the end... yeah im sad because everytime i see a retina display i imagine i have 400 dollars and i go to apple and get a 64 gb ipod touch 4G.. im sad.... ur lucky

    Thanks guys. And you can tell the difference even if you're not looking at it up close on some apps.

    I have a 3G and a 4G... and for sure, you have to be a little blind not to see the difference from a normal distance.
    The difference is HUGE...
