So, i wanted to put some new music on my 3.1.3 Ipod Touch Jailbroken with Spirit, and it gave me an error said it cant open the ipod so i have to restore. So what i want to know now is this:

    1. How do i backup all my apps if possible?
    2. If i restore, it will update, so is there any way to keep my current firmware?

    Thanks

Well did you try to put music on it while it was locked? iTunes won't let you do that if it has a passcode.

    1. iTunes can back up your apps.
    2. There is if you have the blobs for 3.1.3 but even if you don't and have them for 4.0 that's still good.

Download tinyumbrella, plug your ipod in, click start tss server, shift+click restore to 3.1.3, simple as that.
