Restoring an iPad from Jailbroken Status

    How is this done with the SSH Blobs? If I understand correctly, I can restore it to factory settings using the Restore right from iTunes given it's the same firmware...but this makes no sense to me because technically you can download firmwares separately and restore...something is telling me it still checks your signatures...

    Anyone help please?

    Well there isn't another update yet for the iPad, so if you restore, you will be on 3.2. You don't need SHSH blobs unless you want to downgrade, which isn't want you are doing.

    Hi,

    thanks for your response. I figured it was like that. I had a curious case - assuming one installs a new firmware - and it wipes out the edited FW, will this remove all associated content (non-DRM) from the application's jailbreak status?
