    Hi
I have an early 16GB ITouch. At the time I Jailbroke it and been using it ever since.

I want to now sell it and put it back to its proper default state first.
Who do I do this ??

Do I just update it in Itunes.

    Please let me know
    Thanks

Just restore it in iTunes, and set it up as a new iPod. All traces of JB'ing should be gone (unless they do some deep searching to find out if you JB'ed).

Use DFU mode to remove all traces

    Yeah.

    Download iLiberty+ (or Ziphone).

Set your iPod to DFU mode.

Do a regular restore on iTunes.

Restore your ipod by putting it into DFU mode usign ziphone and then restore to 1.1.4.

If you sell it jailbroken, it's actually worth MORE, so keep it jailbroken, the extra $20 is niceeeeeeee.

You should plug it into your computer and open iTunes. If your iPod is recognized, it will appear in iTunes and you can click restore. If it doesn't, you should put it into recovery mode by holding down the home button and the on/off button for about 10 seconds (until the usb connect symbol appears) and your computer should recognize it then.
